Walker’s Rising Stars™ Heroes

$4,000,000.00 Hero Donation- Deposited in a separate individual account managed by Merrill Lynch in a dedicated stock portfolio to increase portfolio value over time.

$100,000.00- Walker’s Rising Stars™ National Foundation for administration costs, 2.5% of donation.

97.5% of donations go to putting on the program, student scholarships, and teacher stipends.

$130,000.00- Total Student Scholarships

Students will be awarded scholarships in each of the following categories: Visual Arts, Musical Instrument, Theatre, Vocal & Dance

$10,000.00-1st Place

$7,500.00- 2nd Place

$5,000.00- 3rd Place

$2,500.00-4th Place

$1,000.00-5th Place

$26,000.00-Total Student Scholarships in each category 

Teacher Stipends in each of the 5 categories, depending on their student’s placement.

$1,000.00 2 Teacher Hero grants to organize the auditions and the show.

$5,000.00 for Walker’s Rising Star™ Liaison to assure a quality, consistent program, and help produce the show.

$50,000.00 to put on the show, theatre costs.  Ad sales in the event program (supplied by the local education foundations) will go to their local Education Foundation to support their mission.

$200,000.00 funds for producing the show, student scholarships and teacher stipends; 5% of the total hero contribution.
